Re: Bereavement- what to do when a loved one dies

I am so sorry to hear of all your losses, so young too.
My heart and thoughts are with you and it helps to talk about things.
Since losing my dad in July of 2010 I do find I am talking about him a lot, but it does help, but when I talk of him its about the good happy times.
A few of my sisters won't hear of any of it, they keep their distance on the subject, and I know we all deal with our grief in different ways.
When talking to mum, dad is the main subject, but she does tend to go off the mark sometimes and says things like "if only" and then goes on about all the illnesses he had, so I have to try to comfort her in confirming nothing more could have been done, and that he is at peace now.
We have lost a few young family members, age 12, 14 and 28 and they have not had the chance to live, its very tragic indeed, but I do really believe they are gone to a better place than this.
I see it and believe its another dimension.
I do have a photo of my dad's stone, my mum didn't want the date on it, but its such a nice stone, I would post it up on here, but do you think its appropriate?
I don't want to go and upset anyone, due to lots of heartache already.
Its a cremation stone, that are now these days made in all shapes and sizes, so if you know of anyone looking for one that have lost loved ones in the past, I will post the photo up.
My love to you all, god bless XXXX
