Re: Lending Stream
SnV,
I received this response yesterday from the FOS. The response was in relation to the email I received from LS advising of the increased interest/charges.
Dear Natty,
Thank you for your email.
As per my previous email to both Lending Stream and yourself (on 23 March 2015), I’ve asked them whether they would be willing to freeze interest and charges whilst I carry out my investigation. Whilst I appreciate the loans are in dispute, I will let you know their response once they come back to me.
Kind regards,
Adjudicator

As I mentioned before, its likely that this is the first time your account has even been looked at by a human being and I would bet the farm that almost everything you've received up to this point has been automated.
So with that in mind, be aware that anything you send them you may not get a 'proper' response for a while.
But also be aware that this works for you!
Give me a couple of days and I'll put something together for you with an irresponsible lending angle, and also their poor admin.

I joined this site in earlier January and as you know I was at breaking point, You and the other wonderful people on this forum advised me not too stress over the missed payments etc. It is now the 2 April and I am still here nothing drastic has happened.
Thanks for the response and then comments which I have noted, I really would appreciate you putting something togeather whenever you get a chance.
warmest wishes
Natty

They have to notify you of defaults, but I don't think it has all the required information to make it a legal default. They say they have stopped interest and charges, so I think you can just ignore it.
Thank you for that, I do double check normally. Much appreciated.

Nanna,
Thank you for your concern. He is not too good he has lost a lot of weight, he is 6ft 3 and is under 9 stone. He needs to build him self up before his operation, which is the end of the month. He does have good days but he is a worrier ( yes it runs in the family).

So question for you is what would be the ideal result for you? What do you want to get from this? You can try for the irresponsible lending route, however you have less argument that you did with LS simply as you only have one loan.
We could try to get the balance reduced and then a monthly payment arrangement, or you could just not make a payment offer at all!
