Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS
Like Lloyds I'm unable to find the loan details from Jan 2001, but can in regards of a loan taken out in Nov 2001, strange, as I am sure the loan before Nov 2001 was taken out in the late 90's and any paperwork i have come across all the loan docs but not that one Jan 2001, even on the paperwork "Products offered" are from Gold loans taken onwards from Nov 2001.
I will keep looking over the coming days, but the GOLD package account was upgraded to us in year 2000, so the GOLD loans were not taken out directly when they upgraded.....in 2001.
I did find better info on the income criteria before and cant for the life of me find it, i checked all my docs too :-/
I shall see if i can get anything by googling lol x

Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS
Email from FOS Adjudicator for the Ombudsman......Now i need to get finding those loan agreements and sure i did send them to the other adjudicator some time ago, doh!
This is the information Lloyds sent to the Ombudsman about the query they wanted to know.
Dear Mr and Mrs
As previously discussed, the ombudsman requested that Lloyds provide comments on the eligibility criteria for the Gold account. Please see the response from Lloyds below.
“The income criteria for the Platinum account was £35,000 and reduced to £20,000 in August 2003. However, we have not found any confirmation that there was ever an income criteria for the Gold Service Added Value Account (AVA), which was launched in March 1998.
Pre 1996 we had a Gold Service account with an income criteria of £20,000. However this was long before we launched the AVA and had the following facilities – Tiered credit interest rates, Overdraft facility of £2500 (up to £10k by arrangement), Gold Service Payment card, Commission free travel currency and a free euro cheque card, Travel accident insurance when you paid with your gold service payment card and worldwide medical and legal assistance, Fee waiver option.
Mr ***** first took a Gold Service loan in January 2001 and then took a subsequent Gold Service loan in November 2001. Due to timescales we have been unable to trace the loan rate for January 2001. However the loan rate in November 2001 was 13.20%. This was a preferential rate, which he would not have had if he had not held the Gold AVA.”
The ombudsman would like to get your comments, if any on this. I would please ask that you respond as soon as possible and by 19 March 2014, at the latest.
Yours sincerely

Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS
Email.......below from Adjudicator, Lloyds has provided the info in relation to the query in order for the Ombudsman to assess and we will be contacted to keep us updated, but I hope we get the opportunity to give any further info, before a decision is made, or more-so if they do back Lloyds again. Should I respond back to that email or not with something? lol cheers.
Dear Mr and Mrs
I confirm that Lloyds has now provided its response to the queries raised by the ombudsman. This will now be referred to the ombudsman so that the complaint can be assessed.
As I hope you will appreciate, as the ombudsman is assessing the complaint independently, I cannot state how long this will take. I will however, update you as soon as there is any progress.
Yours sincerely

Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS
Right okay Lloyds were originally given til last Friday to provide any information in regards of the income eligibility etc, last Friday they confirmed that they will provide this by Monday (today).
An email from the Adjudicator earlier confirms they not received any info as yet but give them until the end of the working day.
Hmm, have Lloyds come to an halt I wonder??
Anyway email received today........
Dear Mr and Mrs
As of yet, I have not received the response from Lloyds. Our usual procedure is to give the business until the end of the working day to provide information. Accordingly, I will update you tomorrow morning to confirm whether the information has been received, should it not arrive earlier today.
Yours sincerely
