Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS

Thank you Niddy done that now

This however is the cover (lloyds) taken out 5 months after the account was sold, as we were with Aviva before that, so I take it they want to compare if the insurance included what they also included in the cover set in the lloyds account?

Email from fos just now to ask if i have the actual policy booklet details of lloyds insurance cover, but I could not find this when looking the other day, they did however receive the copy of the details of my policy though to show everything covered etc a few days ago, so the other day i posted the above link of the details via lloyds but unsure now if it would be the same one or now? anyway email here'

    Dear Mr and Mrs

I email further to our previous correspondence regarding the standalone home insurance policy you held with Lloyds. If you still have a copy of the policy booklet for the insurance, would it be possible to scan and send this by email? If this a long document, a copy of the relevant pages which state the potential cover available under the insurance would be helpful.

I ask because, the ombudsman may need to compare this to the cover offered under the home instance cover provided under the account.

Please do let me know if this will be possible.

    Yours sincerely

Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS

Today received an email to send a copy of when we taken out the stand alone policy via Lloyds, so they already have the Aviva copy and now I have also sent a copy of the lloyds cover to prove all stand alone.

    email here;

    Dear Mr and Mrs

Thank you for your prompt response. Could you please send a copy of the insurance schedule or any other documentation, showing that it is a standalone policy, so that I can give this to the ombudsman?

I would please ask that you send this as soon as possible and by 9 April 2014 at the latest.

    Yours sincerely

Going round in circles but there we go, it maybe because they are finally coming to the conclusion of this, so making sure lol.

The email received wanted to make sure on the insurance being within the account or stand alone, the one taken out with lloyds in Oct 2007, we had taken out House Cover insurance in place of Aviva as stated in 2007, maybe they trying to twist and catch me out lol, but it was stand alone covers we held, Aviva from 2003 to Nov 2007 and Lloyds Oct 2007 to 2009, absolutely nothing to do with the account, as said to them a trillion times now, well it feels like it lol........

    Dear Mr and Mrs

Further to my earlier email, I have a quick query.

You have confirmed that you held Lloyds Home Emergency cover from October 2007 onwards. Could you please confirm whether this is the cover provided by the account or a standalone policy?

I would please ask that you respond as soon as possible.

    Yours sincerely

Re: Not too good news with my packaged reclaim/FOS

The copy of the cover sent from Aviva/NU was also provided on my comments last week LOL, this shown the yearly cover from Nov 2006 to Nov 2007, as we know its yearly and i had been with NU since Nov 2003, before that we did have lloyds cover from the mid 90's to 2003.

I know he just checking but surely by them checking that cover was already in place they could see that we would not want to take out the Premier just for the sake of the Home emergency cover lol. (I think Lloyds are running out of things to add now too) but the loan we had then as well, certainly was not preferential rates....

But we shall see, still have an open mind, as anything can happen where the FOS comes into it lol!

I'd say your summary is spot on adjudicator but then I also recall spelling that out myself as did Di on her complaint.

    Tool

Di - your reply will be "spot on" lol
