Re: Welcome to garlok
Hello Guys and Girls,
Thank you for the wonderful welcome. Quite a few of you know me already and my oft acidic ways. For those who don't we have been battling dear old Barclaycard since 2007 in all but was told by the medics to get help and we did in the Autumn of 2009. Our ducks are pretty much in a row now but the battles are not over. We have won one quite serious F & F with our solicitors dealing with it and am happy to repeat my write up here for discussion should the need arise. This may help some considering this route to keep it all watertight. Happy to share our experiences as well along with the bit of knowledge I have accumulated.
As to my "handle" GARLOK. Well those of you of a certain age may remember a comic called "The Eagle" yes? Well the treens (renegade green Venusians under the command of the Mekon) had a research laboratory at Vilgoth looking at the meaning of life and death. Garlok was the chief scientist and chief engineer.
Gawd what a mispent youth I must have had.
Again many thanks and many thanks for the invitation to come over here, hopefully to be a useful member.
Best regards
Garlok.
