My post stating that the APR was clearly stated before they took out the loan was also rejected.

what in a pro bank way?

Point is these firms are a sham and the sooner they're ALL shut down by OFT the better.

Yes, of course, it is the lender's fault for making her take out the loan with a gun to her head. Get a grip.

Re: Log Book Loans caught in "possibly criminal" sham

No, a payday loan lender is a lender, not a bank.

How is a company a sham if it complies with the law and states its APR clearly before you take out the loan? Genuine question, not trolling!

Thank you for extending me a lifeline like that. And apologies for being "pro bank". A shame you cannot respond to my simple question.

Re: Log Book Loans caught in "possibly criminal" sham

Well Well! Perhaps jared I could rspectfully suggest that you have the basic courtesy to read what this forum is about. We are firmly anti bank and anti the injustice handed out to ordinary people in particular by the financial institutions.

We are here to help and support those that are in need regardless of the circumstances that got them to that point. You will note if you read these forums that there is no abuse of other memebers, quite unlike the other forums and it is not and will not be tolerated here.

As a fairly recent addition to the team and community here I thnk I can speak for most in the community such that you are welcome here if you have something positive to contribute by way helping those less fortunate than yourself or that you have genuine personal needs. As Niddy has said there are some really good people here who will enjoy dealing with any pro bank pro DCA stance taken by you.

                    regards
                    Garlok

It does not comply with the law, otherwise they'd have a CCL - they do not, it was revoked thus bye bye logbook, first of many to go

The APR does not matter, it's the people and methods used against vulnerable people that gets us - this forum is all about people that were shit on by their bank/lender etc - so trust me when I say payday loan companies and their shocking 2400% APR need closing down - they are legal in name but in everything they do it's bloody illegal.

Fair point, so long as you do not troll then we'll let you stay and have your say - do you work for one of these scum? If so please, say who - I'm happy to rip the company apart and detail why, it should also be shut down - unless of course you're one of the few hundred that this firm employed that will soon be out of work?

Yes, in a pro-bank, 'you owe it, you pay it' way.
