Mate can you not settle with F&F for account closure in return? Is it still with Natpest or have they sold it?

It is still with them...they are threatening passing it on to collections....and have been for many months.
I have until June 7th to ring them so they say.
They have been trying to ring me without sucess...lol . I must have negleted to pass my new number on to them.
Will give it a go tomorrow.

Why mate? Let it go to collections then haggle a better F&F (assuming you can get a couple of grand together in a lump sum?).....

It's up to you of course, but I think you'll get a good 8 months minimum to save the cash regardless - so why rush in with an offer of £300 pm to settle at 100%?

Its like I have a devil on one shoulder (defualt setting) saying Fook em and an angel on the other saying dont upset em and think of the bigger picture.

I have got a potential big problem next week which could determine which way I must go anyway , so I guess it is fook em at least for a few days.

Quick update:

HBOS Accounts 3 no ( 2 BOS & 1 Halifax)

All deemed UE by the Boss and not paid since July 2010.

Done the rounds with the DCA's who have had all the templates.

Recieved letters from Lowell re each account, saying that they had bought them, there is no reason why I shouldnt pay up & if I dont the y will have a look at my credit file ( They will be disapointed) and may go for charging order on my home etc etc etc.......

Will send sold in dispute letters to them about each account.

Here we go again.

Will keep you posted.

Matty Lowells are often quick to get BW Legal to issue stat demands, so be on your toes, this is the exact reason they send this we know of no reason why youre not paying blah blah so they can try and argue that the debt is not disputed and therefore a stat demand is justified etc

If B (rainless) W (ankers) issue a SD do let me know.

After a long talk with my mother, we decided to agree a repayment with Lowell's of £30 per month, didnt want to fight an SD, they accepted, heard no more since, so its food for thought matty, obviously, you do what you feel is best.

Have to agree, they take off like Usain Bolt at the minute but on the other side of the coin id not disagree with anyone who personally comes to an affordable and reasonable agreement with their creditors that suits their circumstances.

mmmm ....someone from Hamptons has left an automated message on the main switch board at work ,to phone them urgently re ref blah blah blah.

Never heard of them before , but a quick google says they like to issue SD's?

Bit more googleing and it seems they might be linked to Lowells
