    Balance is £1900 ish

Theses Feckers are doing my head in now.....and I want to punish them.

    The account is UE.
There is an ongoing PPI claim, that they accept / have upheld, but the wont agree to redress in line with FOS guidelines, so it is with FOS and has been since January 2011!
The claim / settlement , even at their reckoning is several times the outstanding balance - FFS I should be chasing them for interest, not them chasing me !
And yet now Muppetcroft have picked up the baton and have rang my work mobile 3 times a day for the last 3 days......leaving a message each time urging me to ring them back urgently

I am tempted to let this run - just ignoring it all the way to court , letting them incur whatever costs in the process ,at which point I pass it on to our friendly solicitors who I know will rip them apart and do them for my costs as well.

      Morning all quick update:

I have had a lot of letters over the last week or so most of which are holding letters - 'we have put the account / collections on hold while we seek further information / instruction from our client' etc.....so I have filed all these.

A couple of letters of interest / note :

1 Re Co-op CC account (UE) and been around a few DCA's Moorcorft being the latest who have had the 'account sold in dispute ' template.
They have now written offering a 40% discount on the account in F&F.......might be tempted to have a nibble at this and try 'em at a lower figure - what do you think Boss?

2:Mbna re one of my CC accounts with them (mastercard - deemed UE ) have written back further to a DCA following up a 'sold in dispute' template, saying that they dont agree, they have complied with my CCA request previously, that the account is enforceable and that this is their final response on the matter.
They go on to say that if I am not happy I should contact the FOS.

      I will ignore for now.

I don't know anything about ppi etc but was wondering if you'd been in touch with solicitors? I know Paul isn't in favour of ignoring.

Why are you thinking of making any F&F payment on a UE account?

BTW It's good of you to call me Boss

Cheers Pixie - or is it Boss now?

1: Amex - I have run it by Pauls Co and am awaiting an answer / view on this.

2: Fair point - But UE ,is I think a temporary and not permanent state, which buys you a bit of time, but is also open to dispute by the other party - as I am experiencing with HFC who I have been battling with in court for almost a year so far.......and it continues.
Was just thinking that as they are offering......might be worth a go for a much lower figure and get this one off the books...
However did also think that as they are offering maybe they too also think that it is UE and are trying for something which would be better than nothing.....

In hindsight i will leave this one a bit.

            Quick update re Amex battle.

I have received an email from them, after complaining yet again to CEO, apologising for passing on to DCA and confirming that no further collection activity will take plave until Ombudsman gives his/hr fnal decision.
Yeah ....right - this is the third time they have set a different DCA on me whilst it has been with FOS(almost 12 months).
It is only with FOS as they wont agree to provide redress fully in accordance with FOS quidelines.

Anyway they are too late - I have already complained to the Ombudsman and copied in all latest DCA correspondence / threats.

Will have to wait and see what happens next....

Record details of all calls mate, ie time and dates - then if necessary you can use that against them in court! Have you escalated this via the FOS? If so what are they actually doing, if anything?

                          Morining all - Quick update.

LTSB MCard - Deemed UE by his Nidship.

Letter received from Robbersway (1st one from them on this account) in the style of an old telex type message 'security telemessage' saying that recent actions on my account are giving cause for concern and that I must contact them immeadiately......
Erm lets have a think about that one.....

                          Dont think so!

There has no action on the account since last October when I was defaulted for none payment and have been chased by various DCA's since.

Will file this with the others and await their next move.

                                Update 13-12-2011

Coop Visa - Deemed UE been through the hands of several DCA's.

Letter recieved from Lewis Debt recovery today - 1st letter from this lot and TBH the first time I have heard of them.
Has anybody else heard of them / had dealings with them?

It was a final demand must pay now or they MAY consider taking further action etc etc

Will bang 'em off a 'sold in dispute ' template and see what comes of that.

                                Cheers
