Quick update,.. basically there is nothing to update. I'm sure that now I've said that, I'll get some more letters through
Almost 5 years now since I sent CCA letters off... I can't believe it's been that long. Shame I don't live in Scotland!

Indeed Pixie - how the devil are you by the way! - there must be a big bunch of us who came over from the Other Place and did our CCAs around the same time.

Mrs D must be smiling about now, I'm sure she started same time as me and she's north of the border?

Quick update... not heard anything for a while but today received 6 (!) copies of the Statement of Account from DLC (ref NatWest). Not sure why they felt it necessary to send 6 separate copies (do they have shares in Royal Mail?). I don't propose to do anything.

Update: letter from CrapOne stating they have sold account to Cabot. Awaiting comms from Cabot - plannimg to send Account Sold letter . Crap One never provided what they should (they sent a Reconstituted Agreement, plus a "Short Application Form" with my signature) and Sir Nid proclaimed it UE, so hope can bat this off until it becomes SB next summer.

Not had to deal with Cabot yet so will see what they are like....

Cabot have now written so will respond with Account Sold and await their next missive.

Edited as have read the Cabot thread.... ooh very intesting. What they have sent me is a most odd first letter, rather wimpy really. It mentions two entirely different Cabot company names so they do seem unsure of their identity

Account Sold winging its way, will check template letters to see if it's changed since I last sent one (which was blooming ages ago, things have been quiet for a while).

Update...
Am keeping my eyes on the Cabot threads and I await their next move.
I now only have 2 defaults showing on my credit file, and I believe my last payments were all made in May 2010 so I am keeping everything crossed for the next few months.
