    Great news Jane!

    I really must get a CCA request sent off for my OH, I've been very lazy of late but I'm going on holiday soon so hopefully that will revive me and I'll get on their case when I'm back.

              Thanks so much everyone, this was fully assigned to Lowells do you think they might sell it back to Lloyds or even some other DCA? Or is it really buried now as long as they don't find an agreement (which I'm 99.99% sure I never signed )

                They may yet pass this on to another DCA. Did it in my case, even though I had a letter stating UE. Still went around 7 different DCA's. Keep the letter safe, every time you get a new contact, send a copy of this letter. The new DCA will pass it back.

                          Interesting letter to return from holiday to; my gut feel is to ignore until I hear more as I have the letter from Feb saying all on hold until they can locate the CCA - can one of you lovely experts tell me if this is the right thing to do? I will obviously file and keep.

                          As advised I just filed this letter and ignored.

                          06.09.13 - I have received a letter from Aktiv Kapital which reads as follows:-

                          You have not responded to previous letters we sent you so we have recently obtained additional confirmation that this is still the correct address for you.

                          It is important you contact us to arrange repayment of this debt. At this time you can still resolve this matter without the need of further action being taken by us and we urge you to call us immediately.

                          This balance is still outstanding and is now due for payment.

                          Next Step

                          Our next step may involve passing your account to our field agent, who will contact you to arrange a time when they can call at your home to discuss repayment options with you.

                          Alternative option

                          We will allow you the option to set up a monthly payment arrangement with us directly and benefit from our incentive programme called "New Deal".

                          Alternatively, you can received a reduction in the amount you owe and potentially pay as little as £6678.96, which will be accepted as full payment.

                          If you call within 10 days we will make the arrangements for you.

                          I have never received a response to my CCA request from February, as you will see they did write and say that they were trying to gain the information but my account would be on hold from collection until a time that they had a copy. As far as I am aware they do not have a copy yet. They did write to say that they had sold the account to Aktiv Kapital Assets but this is definitely from Aktiv Kapital.

                          Do I need to send anything in response to this? I feel I should refer them to my original CCA request that has not been fulfilled but is that the right thing to do and if so is there a template letter? The CCA request was sent on 31.01.13.

                          I would be really grateful for any advice.
