    Send CCA request today 31.01.13

Account owner - Not sure if its Aktiv Kaptial or Equidebt - both are sending correspondence.

07/02/13 - received a letter from Aktiv Kapital stating that they are attempting to gain the information from original creditor this may take some time so account on hold.

09/05/13 - Received letter from Aktiv Kapital stating that they are required to inform me that my account has now been sold by Aktiv Kapital Assets Investments Limited to Aktiv Kapital Portfolio, AS, Oslo, Zug Branch. Aktiv Kapital (UK) Limited continue to act on behalf of the new owner.

Lots more about my account being managed by Equidebt and they will continue to do so. Need to contact them immediately to help them set up a repayment plan. I can call them directly on 01792

Interesting letter to return from holiday to; my gut feel is to ignore until I hear more as I have the letter from Feb saying all on hold until they can locate the CCA - can one of you lovely experts tell me if this is the right thing to do? I will obviously file and keep.

    Thanks

        Welcome back,

I'd ignore them for the time being.

Now moving on to more important issues, how was the holiday?

        Thanks as always

Thanks for the advice - will sit tight for a bit then

Unfortunately on the second day of my holiday we witnessed the most tragic drowning of a 5 year old little girl to be honest I was counting the hours from that point until we came home.... I haven't been able to get to sleep since last Friday night and when I do just manage to doze for 2 hours max so I am exhausted and so so sad

It has put my debt issues totally into perspective though! Its only bloody money!

OMG that must have been awful, it really does put debt in its place bottom of the pile, hope you can feel better soon and thinking of that poor family it was all over the news here.

know how you feel , my son's friend was run over and killed 13 years ago and i was at the scene with my son and tried to help the lad who was 12 and it disturbs you for months , you will feel better but your brain is playing back the event and it takes time to forget.
Your right about the debts, it's just money but with us all sticking together we are fighting them

Back in 2011 before I found this amazing place 1st Credit on behalf of the AA took me to court and were awarded a CCJ with regards to a personal loan. Payment was set at £10 a month, which I have paid religiously and I haven't heard anything since Nov 2011.

Today I have received a Notice of Assignment with regards to this CCJ - it appears that 1st Credit (Finance) 3 Limited has assigned all of its respective rights, title and interest in respect of my account to 1st Credit (Finance) Limited, effective from 1/06/13.

Do I need to do anything? My standing order is set up and is being paid each month, just a bit worried as I had put this one to one side in my head as I thought it was sorted. Any help gratefully accepted.

No this is fine, it's standard - just ignore it and keep paying as previously. I do wish you found us before they got the CCJ - I have a contact there who is very reasonable.

yea should be ok to look at a settlement on that, just let us know when you get a couple of grand - would have to be looking at 50-70% to get their interest sadly, but even that's a good saving

Status - Not sure although TSB issued me a default Notice which was not dated back in December 2008

Account owner - Not sure, again I had a tendency to throw away letters
10/07/13 Oh shit I have returned home today to find two letters in one envelope - haven't heard anything about this cc since September 2012 and have never cca'd it as I was letting sleeping dogs lie but today have received a letter from Lloyds TSB informing me that the balance of £11450.80 has been sold to LOWELL PORTFOLIO LTD on the 24/06/13.

There is also a letter from Lowell's in the same envelope introducing Lowell's

As some of you will know I know Lowell's only too well and I am terrified. Right before I panic I suspect I need to send CCA requests off as soon as possible (like tomorrow) but who to? LLoyds TSB or Lowell's?

I am slightly concerned as with what happened last time they know a lot about me and I think they will issue me with a SD again

                              Help would be much appreciated.

Send a CCA to Lloyds ASAP and send a copy of it, with cover letter (to lowells) saying "find attached recent correspondence sent to your client".

That's all. Don't panic. They've not won against you yet have they? Plus this time you're at AAD from outset

From 1985 they won't have a cca - very unlikely!!
