13.02.15 I have received a letter from Cabot Financial introducing Robinson Way for a Barclay Card debt that went SB at the end of January 2015 - this is the one I have never requested a copy of my credit agreement, they marked it gone away for a long time and then the last couple of months I've had a couple of letters. They also enclosed a letter from Robinson Way saying they are authorised to negotiate repayment on the outstanding balance and if I do not pay or contact them it may mean further letters and calls and my ability to obtain further credit will be effected.

OK I am sure this is now SB, albeit by a couple of weeks - I haven't ever requested my credit agreement - even though its SB should I now request a copy? Or am I best just to ignore? How court happy are Robinson Way? Just slightly worried as its only just SB. The default is still showing as they didn't default for ages after I stopped paying.....

Any advice gratefully received - trust this to arrive just before I am about to go away for a few days

I would just ignore it for now Jane, RW are useless pussies, so if they get heavy we can pop off the SB letter but for the moment they'll just keep churning out rubbish. Give it a couple of months for the SB to bed in nicely.

one of my accounts was passed to RW twice, if I ignored them the 1st time why did they think I would contact them the 2nd?

I've had RW on a few of my accounts but they're pretty toothless. I'd ignore them for now...go and enjoy your break!

When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

Rob Way took OH to court; he desperately tried to settle (well I did on his behalf) because he didn't know enough to go to court! I was able to speak on his behalf against a little girl and won. Luckily the DJ knew some law and read all the references that I took.

Well I can finally say all my credit cards have hit SB! The last one was end of May 😀 that means that the whole of my circa £52000 debt should now be unenforceable I believe. What should I do if they continue to get in touch? Should I ignore or respond with a SB letter?

                    Hey Jane!

                    Congratulations, that's brilliant!!!!

Obviously the longer it goes on the better so deal with each separately as when and if they write to you.

                    Hope you're OK?
