Generally speaking if a debt is deemed unenforceable then this forum suggests you ignore correspondence unless it's a Letter Before Claim.
However a lot depends on the history of the debt and the amount being chased etc. Is it possible to identify which debt received which letter, in particular the one you say the credit agreement is enforceable in case there are other potential legal issues which could make the debt unenforceable?
