Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.....
HAPPY BIIIRTHDAAAAY DEAAAAAR UE DIAAARY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!

One year ago last month, after getting fed up with continuous harassment despite being on a DMP and having payment agreements with all my creditors, I decided to cease all payments.
One year today I started recording this journey on this UE diary.
For anyone that's considering this - after the initial flurry of letters, I have received LESS harassment from creditors than when I was on my DMP.
You only have to look at the 1st page and the colored updates to see the communication I have had (or not) from creditors since I have taken the UE route.
I know there is a long way to go still but I am much happier and feel in more control of the situation.
Many thanks to Niddy and crew, and all the forum members who are in this together and sharing their experiences.
Heres to another 12 UE months!
Best
SnV

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Is this the first time Fred's have wrtten, if so the send of the sold in dispute, Niddy has put a lot of thought into the templates so easiest to follow the pattern. The numpties at Fred's don't know this is in dispute, they just come in hard to try and frighten you, so just tell em it's in dispute and we'll go from there.

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
If it were me, I would send SWID.
Bryan Carter can be trigger-happy but I've seen them off on a couple of occasions.

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Not the SWID letter, thus saving the LBA response for BC if they subsequently write ??

Lowell ramping up the pressure a little. I have the following today from Fredrickson International.
I've been a bit lax in responding to this one, so not sure which response to give them. I could assume this as a LBA and use the 'defective LBA' template.
Or perhaps sold in dispute?

Re: The SaltnVinegar UE Diary
Hi DnWOriginally posted by NotDrowningButWaving View PostI'm having a similar experience with LTSB. CCA request sent last August, and we are going around in circles. Their latest agent (Moorcroft) suspended the account 27/02 to liaise with client, and so far I have heard nothing since.
Thats really useful info thanks! It seems to be causing them some difficulty in how to deal with the request - they only have to read the relevant section of the CCA and they 'should' know what to send - but of course they don't have anything to send so probably don't want to risk opening a can of worms!

Moorcroft have suspended the account while they liaise with Lloyds TSB.
Funny thing about this is that they have not made a single attempt to try to comply with the request in my letter.
This suggests that either they are totally confused as to what it is they should be sending, or, they realise that this could open up another tin of works similar to PPI so they don't want to comply.
