Not in the file that I kept. By rights there should be 3 of them.

If there's been no data retention and it's done the rounds in DCA land, then how are they going to substantiate the alleged balance they're chasing?

As I say, Lloyd's have a few issues if anyone tries to enforce on their behalf and/or purchases assignment rights

Its these same same reasons we beat Lowell's and their SD's.....

Re: Lloyds Credit card account sold to Marlin Europe 11 Ltd

            Hi all,

As mentioned recently in my diary I have also had the 'sold to Marlin' letter from Lloyd's although my loan account from 2005 was deemed enforceable by Niddy. No contact from Marlin yet though, I'm sure it won't be too far away

when they do contact you best to get a CCA request away, no reason to suspect that Lloyds have been efficient in passing on the correct paperwork.

Agreed MrsD - when Marlin contact you send a new CCA and see what documents THEY have

Re: Lloyds Credit card account sold to Marlin Europe 11 Ltd

Received a letter from Marlin Financial Services dated 6th Jan.

We write with reference to the above matter and your letter received the contents of which have been noted.

We have requested more information from Lloyds TSB to assist us with our enquiries and we will contact you in due course.

So, looks like a waiting game again.

Re: Lloyds Credit card account sold to Marlin Europe 11 Ltd

Gone through all of my Lloyds paperwork over the last few days. Further to my request under the data protection act 1998, they confirmed on 5th May 2011"We have not been able to locate an agreement for your Texaco credit card".

I also found a letter from, mackenziehall specialist debt recovery and trace solution provider. Letter dated 29 November 2012.
"Having referred this matter to Lloyds, they have confirmed there is no copy of Credit Agreement available; however you would remain liable for this debt albeit no legal action can be taken".

Should have been the end of this story!
