Now that I've got my arithmetic up to speed and the right specs on, if you took it out 18 years ago, and only started to pay 2 years ago, it must have been statute barred when you started to pay two years ago........which means someone told you a big porky......

Send the demand for signature template.

It wouldn't hurt to send a cca request for the loan too

                      Re: CCA help

send the letter we suggested and stop paying.

i would also send a cca request with a pound postal order to Lloyds for the other one.

When anything comes back from Moorcroft, come back to us and we'll help you through

You will be fine, good luck

                        Re: CCA help

thanks so much, I made the original Po out to moorcroft and they returned it saying it had to be made payable to lloyds instead, can I change the name on it or will I have to get a new one?

                          Re: CCA help

moorcroft have a duty to get your CCA as they are dealing with your account at the moment. send it off again with our template letter and see what they say. if they want to mess about and they are still in default of your CCA request and can't do anything until they comply (bet they never do though), as i said, you will be fine, don't worry and save the money evey month

so its delay tactics on their behalf? so i should send back the original postal order payable to moorcroft? , sorry for all the questions!

its can't be bothered tactics on their behalf, you're paying, they don't care
you stop paying and you send it again and they then have to do something about it, the cash cow that you have been has just turned around and bit their bums.............
they probably realise in the furthest recesses of their wee tiny brains that a CC that old has a cat's in hell chance of being found.........which is good for you and bad for them.

read around the forum, loads of similar cases in the diaries, samsmum came from the same place as you, and there is always the novel that is mine The Dopeys (cos we were, very)
