I know that they have entered a default on your credit file, but have they ever sent you a Default Notice?

When I asked for a copy or proof of the Default and Termination Notices, I got a reply in the post saying "MBNA did not issue or were required to issue a notice of default and/or termination and therefore do not hold a copy of any such notice on our system." Note that in this instance by saying 'a notice of default' they did mean a Default Notice because it was before they were obliged to inform you they had added default charges to your account.

Thanks for that, it may explain why I cannot find a default or tremination notice for my MBNA account. Just been looking through old stuff and thought I had been lax in my filing!

Seriously, await the CCA Request response and stop worrying, they cannot touch you as they sold these AFTER you sent the CCA Request thus s.78 protects you from any enforcement right now.

Just sit tight and ignore them but please keep us updated.

p.s. don't worry ok? It's fine, you're actually in control right now.
    thanks

I would wait and see who contacts you next about both then send the account sold in dispute, if you haven't sent off the CCAs, get them off first though.
already sent off a cca on the first letter will send one on the 2nd letter, already had a letter from hillsden on the first letter, sent them accountsold while in dispute letter
