CCA's sent for yesterday only one phone call today as yet, but dont know if its them as I disconected before they spoke, tell tale sign they dont answer straight away. Its gone from ringing all day to once. YAY! Dam annoying when your scared to answer your own phone. Mind you we brought it on ourselves I suppose.

It will drop to nothing eventually. Most get tired eventually and move on elsewhere
When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

£12.00 for a phone call = sounds like shop direct method!

As above, they CAN charge £12 per month as a late payment charge. That's all though....

ok well they can't do that - you cannot default on a payments twice in one billing period can you?

It doesn't matter as you're not paying anyway, but it is incorrect what they are doing.

Could it be two different penalties?. An overlimit and a late for instance?

We had a number of occasions when that happened and they hit us twice.

wouldn't matter, one charge per billing period mate. Default sums usually apply to the account being, well in default (not s.87/88 but more not adhering to the terms for whatever reason) and these should be capped at one instance per billing period so if you miss a payment that would supercede overlimit and thus £12 would be applied.

Unless something is new that I missed - I dunno but anything more than one charge should be appealed, only if you plan on settling the debt though
