    How do you deal with a weasel that has all property registered to offshore company? Obviously it is a planned scam to fail to complete what has been paid for, as all chance of retribution has been removed from the scope of the court.

    Has left relatives' home unsafe, without hope of sign off and failing to meet Building Regs, and left the site £20000+ in pocket for work not done. He kept to his payment schedule, but not work schedule He used inferior products and missed out many hidden products.

    Might be best speaking to a solicitor who deals with these things.

    Not good. I hate people who rip the elderly off

      Seems CAB receive all calls for Trading Standards, as the swine they pursue threaten frequently.

      Does anyone know of criminal prosecutions for bodged gas and electrics that can see custodial sentences and confiscation of proceeds of crime?

        Bodged gas would be Gas Safe (http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk)
        Bodged leccy would be NICEIC (http://www.niceic.com)

        Ideally you'd let them prosecute as the regulator.
