  • Clean Up your computer

I downloaded this a while ago now:

    CCleaner - Download

It performs a good number of routine tasks to keep your computer running automatically - use the free version!

Also cleans up your registry - I've found it brilliant!

I run Spybot and Malwarebytes in "safe mode", it seems quicker
It's taken years of hard work to earn the capital N in Numpty

            Re: Clean Up your computer

CCleaner is very simple just two buttons, analize and clean and has never deleted anything I did not want it too yet.

              Re: Clean Up your computer

Never 100% trusted ones that try to clean up/fix the registry, but that may just be over caution on my part.

Something similar but open source: BleachBit - Clean Disk Space, Maintain Privacy

Works well on Linux. Can't vouch for Windows.

                Re: Clean Up your computer

Right done the two analyze and cleans - the generic one and the registry one (as I knew there was stuff that needed removing, but not confident enought to do it myself)

Hopefully will run a bit quicker now
