    just worked for me, and my IE disabled

    clicked the green arrow to make it switch to the LEFT
    i then added a link in my Favourites
    i clicked the RED X button TOP RIGHT
    Relaunched IE and it showed on the LEFT

      Yep - works - providing you dont close favourites as it then opens on the right again.
