I got a Samsung Galaxy Y earlier on this year, I think it's great. OK so it's only a basic smart phone but it does everything I need.
First thing I did was download and set up Kies and upgrade the firmware. Kies runs a bit slow for file transfer but does the job.
Since I have had the phone there have been 2 new firmware upgrades.
BTW I got mine sim free and run on Vodaphone without problem.
Navigation programme works great.
