Ok do a restore to last update - check on restore calendar and perform a full system restore.

After that leave it till tomorrow as could be Tesco DNS / Glue errors.

ok all sorted it was a Tesco error on there part I rang technical support for some reason my account had been blocked ......

Outlook working fine ....

If I remember rightly talktalk will not let you use certain other outgoing mail server settings to send messages. I had to either use a talktalk email address for my outgoing settings or I set up gmail as my outgoing mail server.

I know they are cheap but with talktalk IMO cheap=crap.

I was with them for years, when my Broadband speed dropped to below 1Mbs I got a special offer to fibre which was fairly good however when they again put their prices up I used it as an excuse to get out of my contract and move to B.T who, while not perfect are certainly better, and provide more up to date equipment

While I was away my Son thought it would be a good idea to update our works PC to Windows 10 .....we can't open our emails in windows live now, uninstalled and reinstalled the email Pop accounts info but no joy.

We can still access our emails from logging onto our office 360 BT account, it was just convenient on windows live and see all email accounts with one click on the home page instead of having to log on to BT office then go to office 360 and log into each account individually

I have been having some problems on my mac since the upgrade to El Capitan , somehow it seemed to corrupt the settings. Doesn't Win 10 have a different mail handling system, if not I have been using Office 2010 very successfully .
