that would put the electric bill up too , my friend tried to make a wood burner for it last year, he got an oil barrel, some piping and connected it to the pool pipes, it started to heat the water but there wasen't enough pipe to heat the water before it got to the pool so we disconneced it, but the idea was great and hubby reckons it would work if the right materials were provided .Originally posted by vossy View PostLOL, we would be running out with kettles of boiling water all the time
So any ideas folks would be great on free pool heating . We know about solar heating and it can heat the pool , but we don't have any sun

Do you need to have much sun for solar power?? Maybe ask Handy if he has any ideas - as he would be the man to know
