        All done, so nice and warm now plus hot water
        Didn't go without hitch as the installer was late by a few hours then he hit a hitch with some leaking pipes which came through the roof in the hallway into the light fitting so we've had to cut the power to the lights downstairs until the electrician comes to fit the thermostat and he can make sure it's all dried out and safe. Installer was a nice chap though and ended up staying until gone 10pm to get the system going apparently his boss said he could come back the next day, but couldn't cancel any appointments so he'd have to put the hours in anyway so might as well finish off.

        Not sure he did the chemical flush in the end and some downstairs rads weren't working this morning but I've gone round and adjusted the flows and all seem fine now.

        He said the sparky would be here today or Monday so will all be done by then hopefully.

                That's great news!! Well done and what a relief for you too!

                My boiler stopped working on me yesterday, so no hot water or heating, and today the engineer came out early and sorted it, it was just the fan in the boiler stopped working.
                They serviced it at the same time, as it was due.

                Always the wrong flipping time of the year it happens though isn't it?


                Anyway, mine was just minor and that was bad enough for me lol.

                So chuffed it's all sorted for you now, good one xx
