        Indeed Fedup worth a shot go for it The scheme is under-subscribed btw way and thus have millions left over from last year so get in there before Cameron pulls this too.

              Just got off the phone to warmfront, and we qualify survey is booked for the 24th (soonest avail) where they have to come and check out what needs doing then hopefully we'll be warm this winter and HOT water too

              Only downside is they advise it could take up to 3 months but no longer than 5 months to get the work done, so just hope the Gov don't change their minds again like last time.

              Thanks for everyone's help and advice, this site and it's members is really unbelievable

                              Have to say though, it was a blessing being turned down for the credit by BG, just imagine we would have been paying that off for years, which if I'm totally honest we would have struggled to pay, instead of getting it for free.
                              Never thought of checking Warmfront again because when we failed before it was because the criteria was that you had to be on JSA or similar and I'm suprised that with all the austerity measures the Gov had widened the eligbiity again, albeit I suppose it's gets a lot of engineers working plus goes towards their green targets as it includes insulation where applicable.

                                Criteria only changed a couple of days ago

                                From 12 September 2012 the eligibility criteria for Warm Front changed.*
