wagg
it's what all the police dogs get and they always seem perky enough
cos doggles is a little plumptious at the moment he gets a handful pf frozen veg as well, and a little less food. Believe it or not he eats the lot, we defrost the veg with a tiny bit of gravy powder.
he is starting to look a bit sleeker

Re: Which Dry Senior Dog food is best?
I give my lab Burns - I buy "alert" as it's VAT free, being designed for working dogs, but has the same ingredients as normal Burns. It's a dry dog food, which I prefer, and they don't include any of the carbs which can usually give sensitive dogs upset tummys, dry skin etc (wheat, corn, maize etc).
They do a few versions for seniors. If you fancy trying it, shop around online for the best price as high street pet shops charge a lot more than online ones.
It is fairly pricey, but you feed them less than with some other dog foods so doesn't work out overly expensive when you factor that in.If happy little bluebirds fly, beyond the rainbow, why, oh why can't I?
