Eyeglasses with the conventional "hockey tips" give me a severe headache in about half an hour of putting them on, although sunglasses rarely did. Consequently, I took to wearing a monocle over my right (dominant) eye - which seems to suit the knee-breeches I customarily wear in summer.

No use, alas, as they don't have the retinopathy scanning equipment. The optician near the podiatry clinic does, though, so I'll book an appointment there to coincide with my next foot check-up.

Have to take Daniel to his first Derm appointment tomorrow morning, at our local county hospital, as his GP referred him, been a long wait, but personally I think his skin has improved in that time, but he said he still wants to go, because he still comes out with breakouts.

I explained this happens, but he is adamant of still wanting to go.

Can anyone who knows explain what to expect at the first appointment please?
I know they will want to take details down of the family history/medications etc.

                              Cheers.

They just took a family history, examined skin and explained different treatment options
