No answer to my email as yet...... so I've sent another one stating.....

If the company want me to run with a retrospective leaving date, then I will need the settlement funds released in the January payroll.

If not, then the termination date will need changing to the end of this month and not 2014, as I'm not prepared to wait 2 months without any money......

Hmmmmm......

I've just noticed that the settlement agreement is undated..... and am therefore not happy signing clauses referring to the "date of the agreement". WTF are they playing at?

Emailing the union tonight..... As much as I want this sorted, I'm vey close to telling them to shove their retrospective leaving date right up their arse!

Thank you all so very much..... and especially to you Jane, who kept me going and encouraged me to hold my nerve!!

It's the first time I've need serious help on here and all of you were absolutely fab!!

I hope to start the new job at the beginning of February...... but the story won't end there because it's in the same bloody building (just like the one that I was hoping to get which fell through a few months back!! So..... do I send the soon-to-be old boss a courtesy email just before I start.... to smooth the way for both of us or, do I just walk in.....

I am amazed how unprofessionally they have dealt with the whole thing but a lot of employers are the same!

Its like working in Finance!!
