    Re: London Olympics

I didn't think that the closing ceremony lived up to all the hype before it, yes it was good but I could easily have turned over to watch something else, best part for me was Queen with Jessie J, I loved The Who also but still it didn't sort of do it for me, the athletes are what made the games so successful but just watch the politicians jump on the band wagon to take all the credit for it.

I thought it was a brilliant closing ceremony. I am really going to miss my sporting fix, though perhaps I can now get on with some of the work that I have to do!!!

Unfortunately I think it is going to be on Channel 4, so the television coverage will not be as good.

Looks brilliant, let's hope this success can be repeated. Just settling down with G&T to watch the closing ceremony.

If Tom Daly had achieved the same score 4 years ago he would have easily won gold! Unfortunately the event was of a very high standard.

Tom Daley didn't lose...he won a bronze medal and only missed out on the gold by 12 points....nothing when the scores were 550/560. He looked so happy to get the bronze...none of the prima donna stuff you get with some other competitors.

Mo Farah's face was a picture when he realised he'd won the 5000 metres.
