    The average cost of raising a child from birth to the age of 21 in modern Britain is £231,843, according to a new report by an insurance company.

    What a load of bovine excrement - where do these researchers get such garbage from?

    I'm assuming that the '1%'ers must be spending tens of millions on their little heirs and heiresses to drag the average up to almost £1000/month!

    A better survey would have been what the average cost of raising a child is to those on the national average salary........
