Little update BCW re M&S have sent a letter, just a general "ways in which we can help" letter.

Goes on about ways to pay, and the best bit i like was

"Stop us constantly calling you" - "When we have an agreed repayment, we wont bug you by telephone"

I found that paragraph quite interesting.

Filed for now.

That sounds like it's been written by someone in short trousers....

BCW are bottom-feeders and not normally anything to worry about.

Maybe thats what we should all start doing, sending letters thanking them for their last phantom letter which stated they would write off the debt lol

I did manage to get round mums today and had a look at the letter.

It wasnt from M&S it was BCW re M&S so they havent handed it back.

However the content was still the same, so will file and ignore for now.

Little update, received letter today directly from M&S i feel honoured!

(perhaps the DCA has handed it back as they have gone quiet)

M&S are inviting me to make a 1 off payment to clear the debt, they dont say how much though.

Letter also says its important i contact them and they are here to help.

Thats the jist of it, havent been round to mums today (waiting for a delivery, 8 til 8 timeslot, bloody cheeky gits) So ill give it a proper read tomorrow and unless its anything different i shall file and ignore.

poor BCW, I also have a M&S account with them that is enforceable, have not replied to any of their letters and they kindly keep checking that my Trucall machine is working once a week

Received a letter from BCW Re M & S

No threats, just headed Final Response.

Cut a long letter short, they refer to my previous letters, and state that M&S would have told them of any disputes with the account and was handed over to them for collection in good faith.

They say, they asked in their last letter to send a CCA Request and £1 yet this has not been done, They see no reason for a dispute and as such refute my last letter.

Enclosed is a FOS leaflet and they state i should contact FOS within 6 months if i feel i have a valid dispute.


Now my last letter to them was account sold in dispute, so obviously someone cant read at BCW or they would know i raised a dispute with them regarding the CCA.

I ignored their last letter asking for £1 because i felt that if they cant read im not wasting any more money.

This account is enforcable, been blagging it with a few DCA's over the last 18 months.

So question is, shall i ignore this and wait for the next threat, or shall i send back creditor refusal to accept UE?
