      Evening all.

Quick update re my MBNA M/Card - deemed UE by his Nidship balance £3K odd & not paid since June 2010.

Been around a few DCA's - Have receieved a letter today form MBNA and from Arrow Global (In the same envelope - which was strange I thought) telling me that they are selling the account to Arrow.
Arrow tell me I should continue to make payments to / correspond with AIC.....whom I have not heard from for a while.
Guess that is about to change anytime soon.

Wil wait and see who contacts me next.

(I have 2 other accounts with them & therefore I'm expecting more of the same to come)

I have read of others recieving similar notifications re MBNA and Arrow - but cant find the thread that I read it on.

      Regards,

      Matty.

Remember mbna is exiting the uk market so they're asset-cleansing.

It's normal, egg did it before the BC sale; as did citi prior to progressive buying the portfolio (via HBOS).

Don't panic, all is normal. Just whether the storm guys. You'll be fine (until we see what they're really up to of course)....

Got another letter from MBNA c/w notice of assignment from Arrow in the same envelope - this time relating to my Visa card also deemed UE by his Nidship.(Balance £6k+)

I have read the various stuff on the dedicated thread but mine has a bit of a twist....

2 of my 3 accounts with them have been subject to a PPI claim which whilst I have had an offer / payment , I did not accept it in full & final settlement as I calculated it to be on the low side nor did it take into account or repay default fees and associated interest etc.

I therefore wrote to MBNA explaining this and asking for further information and details of their calculation s to explain how they have arrived at their figures etc.

It is my view that these accounts are well and truly in dispute and will confirm as much when Arrows DCA (Freddies on this account / AIC on the other) gets in touch to chase me.

Hopefully this is the right tac.....I have read the various comments on the 'dedicated' thread - but my point is that Arrow dont threaten anything, they are just notifying me that the account is now theirs and that Freddies / AIC are looking after it for them.

                            Am I being naive?

Just wait and see what Arrow throws at you Matty

I got a letter from MBNA (with attached Arrow letter followed with Arrow saying: continue making payments to Wescott ? Duh!), even though that the letters were compiled and dated the 15th Jan 2012 (which is a Sunday) which took 11 days to reach.
