Funny thing is all the templates are going to get a major revamp shortly (using new case law) so I'd expect a lot more quiet spells in future

No holds barred templates for v.5!

OK, so it's a new month and still nothing. I can't believe that they have lost total interest but at the same time I can't believe they haven't been in touch. Paragon are notorious!!! Fingers crossed folks!!

Anyway, here's to the free time and lack of hassle I've had for the past 4 months

Hi again folks. Apologies that I tend to flitter on here to update and then disappear but been so busy with work, keeping head above water, kids, illnesses etc etc Poor excuses I know but they're mine and I am sticking to them

Anyway, another month passes and another disappointing no show from Paragon. I am now tempted to investigate to see if the rioters looted their head office and took all the PC's so that they now have no idea who had loans/policies with them

I will continue to keep you updated with the boring no shows. 2yrs and 3 months (I think) more of this and they disappear from my credit file!!! WOO HOO!!!

I hope everyone is keeping well on here and having some joy with their own situations. Again, apologies for my lack of attendance at the moment and hope it doesn't deserve a

Guess what everyone!!! Yes that's right it's that time of the month .... no NOT THAT TIME ... but the time where I tell you I am still feeling neglected.

Paragon still haven't got in touch. Not even a hint, little reminder or message in a bottle. I am now thinking that maybe they've all been abducted by aliens and being anal probed!!!!

Anyway, I am still happy plodding on and not hearing anything from the nasty little gits

I will, as always, keep you updated. Roll on June(ish) 2014 when the default comes off my file. Can really get on with my life and finally move

Take care everyone and good luck to you all with your cases

13/10/2011: received letter stating debt sold to Lowell Portfolio I Ltd

                          Hi Niddy,

As you can see with the bottom entry above, I received a letter from CL Finance telling me that they have passed the debt onto Lowell Portfolio I Ltd.

Accompanying the letter is one from Lowell saying they owe they debt and will now attempt to receover the outstanding debt. If I do not contact them they'll pass my details to Lowell Financial Ltd, they're recovery specialists, to obtain payments.

I contacted CL Finance in April 2008 asking for the original information pertaining to the Credit Card and never heard from them until today.

Any and all advice gratefully received.

                          Many Thanks

                          Dave

as a start as from your diary above the account has been sold whilst a dispute exists due to no response from CL Finance

I agree with Garlok in sending the letter, but be aware that they are allowed to sell the account while in dispute - if you report them to the OFT, the OFT will say they don't encourage it, nor do they consider it to be good practice, but it is not unlawful.
