                Re: Clearingthepast UE Diary

                Hi

any suggestions on this one. Have been dealing with Moorcroft and as this account does not fall fully into the CCA unenforcibility may have to come up with a payment plan.... eventually.....however it was a joint account and Moorcroft are only writing to me on it, but Lloyds sent statements to me at our current address and hubbie at our previous address last month... should i ask for clarification on who owns it as dont want to agree anything and then have another company them chase hubbie for more.. as i thought u were jointly and severaly liable for joint stuff?

Lloyds TSB 3 (former joint personal account)
                Started 1998
                Bal: £9208
                Defaulted 2006
                DMP £3.17
Owned by Lloyds TSB debt recovery
23/2/12 moorcroft letter advising they are intending litigation - emailed Niddy for advice
24/2/12 another letter from moorcroft to my new address trying to confirm its me....
2/8/2/12 threatogram before action template sent
9/3/12 moorcrort acknowledge receipt and advise it is being dealt with by compliance dept and account on hold whilst they investigate
18/3/12 recd a 3 page letter from moorcfort compliance have emailed Niddy for advice...ignore and wait for next move
5/4/12 moorcorft write to say that lloyds have advised that CCA not required on this type of account, and I have 2 weeks to contact them before they follow this up..
11/4/12 a 2 page letter from moorcroft explaining that this account not under the CCA act and i must offer a suitable payment plan i can afford, and saying a financial statement enclosed for me to complete - but it wasnt they just sent a copy of the previous letter?!

14/2/12 CCA request resent with £1 now payable to Britannica but have no contact details for them hence resent to wescot... round and round the garden....lol

Hello can i have some advice please

Wescot want us to write write confirming DOB and previous address to prevent "breach of data protection".
Guess this is because wescot write to current address and Egg/Barclaycard have our previous one... is it OK to do this??

we never had the CCA for this because barclaycard say the debt is too old (default was 6 years ago - tho nothing paid in last 12 months). I see on some other threads they have tried this before. Shall i just send account in dispute letter?

                          Re: Clearingthepast UE Diary

Credit Secrity have written to us as they are now handling one of the old Lloyds debts. But included in the letter is another sheet with the name and address and details of another persons debt...
any ideas on the best way to respond to their error???

                              Started 2003ish
                              Bal: £6429

                              Owned by 1st credit
                              31/10/11 CCA request sent
10/11/11 1st credit had advised MBNA that we have requested CCA. We must call them immediately when we receive it...

24/10/12 recd a letter from 1st credit almost 12 months after last communication. They have now been assigned the debt and want us to contact them immediately. we can also send £10 to find out what information they hold on file about us...yeah right.

Had heard nothing from 1St credit or MBNA since 3/11/11 when 1st Credit advised they were unable to send CCA as it was retained by MBNA. They say they requested it from MBNA but we have never recd it nor had the £1 PO returned not had any other communication in the eleven months since- what would be best to respond to this with?
