Any suggestions on how to handle Marlin .. I have been reading the threads to get up to date as not been able to log in for a week. I like Scrappy Cocos plan but it doesnt seem quite for this one because of the letter we have on file from Barclaycard..

Hi Elsa all the letter from Marlin says is that "we do not appear to have a repayment plan agreed on the outstanding debt" It is extremely important that we speak to them... have put in both threads!

    Hi out there
I have been reading about Marlin on the forum, and not sure what to do with this. We have letter from Barclaycard advising that they are unable to provide a CCA so it is unenforceable and now they have assigned to Marlin.

Should I send something or wait to see what Marlin send, thye are actually writing to our old address, and surprised that the letter has been forwarded as there is no redirection...

    Re: 1st Credit and MBNA

    MBNA loan
    Started 2003ish
    Bal: £6429
    Defaulted 2005
    DMP £2.22
    Owned by 1st credit
    31/10/11 CCA request sent
10/11/11 1st credit had advised MBNA that we have requested CCA. We must call them immediately when we receive it...

24/10/12 recd a letter from 1st credit almost 12 months after last communication. They have now been assigned the debt and want us to contact them immediately. we can also send £10 to find out what information they hold on file about us...yeah right.

Had heard nothing from 1St credit or MBNA since 3/11/11 when 1st Credit advised they were unable to send CCA as it was retained by MBNA. They say they requested it from MBNA but we have never recd it nor had the £1 PO returned not had any other communication in the eleven months since- what would be best to respond to this with?

Hi out there...does any one know where we stand on this please?

we never had the CCA for this because barclaycard say the debt is too old (default was 6 years ago - tho nothing paid in last 12 months). I see on some other threads they have tried this before. Shall i just send account in dispute letter?
if you have a letter confirming no paperwork, I'd send this one

Thanks i have reread barclaycard letter and what they actually did was send it to our old old address which we left 6 years ago, even tho they communicated at the address we were at after that... and quiery the different address and of course request signature to change..?
