BARCLAYS MASTERLOAN

When I went in I left a number of letters for OH to send recorded for me amongst which was a letter to Barclays asking IN PLAIN ENGLISH for the total breakdown of every single payment ever made to the loan from the beginning as the one they sent me when I rang and asked was ridiculous as it was just a closing balance. Totally not listened to what I had asked for. No reply as yet but he was probably late posting them

I was just about to print this letter out and put it with all my other EGG letters on my comp when I realised that this was actually the letter that I sent to them on 2nd November and they have responded by telling me that the County Court Claim has been prepared. Do I send them the same letter again or is there a different one?

Well Done - told you my letter would sort them once & for all haha. Sorry, I've dealt with these types of scum for years and it's just finding that breaking point....

Anyway, THEY may think that's the end of it. I most certainly don't!! I asked for £250 compo and want them to pay it to you. I'll do you a reply later. It will threaten court but worry not, I'd sort that side of things for you.

I WANT you to get the compo. Fcuk em lol

Arrrraggghhhh the postman has been saving all my post up until today, he must have got wind that I was planning going up to the North East this weekend. He just wanted me to not have a quiet relaxing time - unlucky for him I know of a fab website who can steer me in the right direction. Thanks you guys.

Right, first things first.

BARCLAYS LOAN

I have received a full breakdown of every payment I ever made to then after me writing a snotty letter telling them they hadn't listened to what it was I had asked for in the first place. Niddy, I will email this over to you as you were wondering about the PPI being valid or something and possibly claiming through my ill health, good luck as I'm not really sure what you are looking for.

Also regarding the BARCLAYS loan I've had a letter from Debt Managers mentioning a settlement opportunity, I will also email this to you but I would imagine that at the moment it is irrelevant as if you are looking at the PPI thing first then any settlement wouldn't be for the same starting amount that they are looking at.

ARC have sent yet another letter, saying that I must have received the CCA as I contacted them earlier this year to say it was unenforceable.

Wondering where to go from here, or anywhere infact as I'm confused exactly what to do as this has long since fallen off my credit file after being defaulted years ago.

I had two accounts with First Direct and a Credit Card, I managed to clear the credit card eventually and they then withdrew all my banking facilities from them. The overdraft I have outstanding with them on both accounts is soley made up from charges they have placed against me and despite me asking for help on numerous occasions the charges just kept growing.

Earlier this year I wrote to the Financial Ombudsman but First Direct wouldn't budge over the charges and I have no way of paying back the entire overdraft (approx £750 from the two accounts)

I've recently been getting letters from a company called Metropolitan Collection Services Limited with regard to First Direct's outstanding balance. Now I'm getting them also from another company called D&G (I think) Does this mean that First Direct have sold the debt on. Surely they can't do that if it is in dispute with the FOS can they, where do I go from here.

HELP!

This actually shows as no PPi so it appears that none was ever added, so we need to forget this argument.

I'd just carry on making £1 payments, unless you can consider a settlement? Can you?

Sorry! Was worth looking into PPi but according to those papers, none was ever added.

I'd just ignore this to be honest - it's really up to you but as you say, you've been defaulted and it's dropped off your credit file, you should have been staying under the radar lol..... not much they can really do, so just ignore them.

Even a ccj won't hurt you that much - you don't own your home, do you?
