    Hi,

    Update

Just received a letter from 1st Credit in regards to the BOS account.

    They are offering

    • Pay in 7 days 30% discount
    • 8 to 30 days 20% discount
    • Beyond 30 days 10% discount

But still no CCA from them despite requesting.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I sent a CCA request a number of weeks ago to 1st Credit re-Bank of Scotland using the template advised.

Today they have sent me a letter (not dated) all it had enclosed was backdated statements from 2003 (about 200 or so) and no CCA or terms etc, I have never asked for statements and or invoices - but I have asked for a valid CCA

    Please see letter below

    1st Credit Limited
    The Omnibus Building

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find enclosed copy statements/invoices as requested for 1st credit Reference:

Upon receipt please contact 1st Credit immediately to discuss the above account.

    Yours Sincerely

WE CAN STILL HELP YOU GET YOUR ACCOUNT IN ORDER
We have written to you several times now about the money-you owe us, but you have not paid or set up a payment plan. We will be able to help you; however you must call us straightaway.

WHAT YOU COULD FACE IF WE DON'T HEAR FROM YOU
We are willing to do all we can to help you clear your balance, but if you do not Pay or put a plan in place after this letter, we will pass your account on to Red Debt Collection Services. Red Debt Collection Services are part of Lowell Financial Ltd and specialise in assessing customers financial circumstances. They do this by obtaining a copy of your credit file from a Credit Reference Agency and then using the information within it to determine what options are available to us to recover what you owe, an example could be to use litigation. If legal action is taken against you, you could end up in Court having to pay not only what you owe, but legal costs and interest as well.

WE'LL HELP YOU TO GET YOUR FINANCES BACK ON TRACK
If you get in touch with us today, we will find a payment plan that works for you and your finances. Repaying your debt will help you improve your credit rating and avoid the possibility of Court action.

    Just one question

    • Can they check my credit record without my authority and what impact would this have.

    Thanks

Obviously you know it's 1st April and you never really read that, right?

They are not there to help; they've more chance of Elvis having a dump on mars than you ringing and best of all why are they so confident they'll "have" this agreement - Lowell (SDG) are notorious for such f**k-ups, being the catalogue used to send goods with no agreement for months later - if at all, most never got one!

Suffice to say, sit tight and see them magic this agreement, or wait till they write and say they've closed the account and you now owe nothing, then a week later it'll drop off your credit file - that's the norm!

    WE WILL BE IN TOUCH
When we receive it we will post it to you strait away.

Layman; we can't find a cca. Shoot, we're fooked. Hang on, I had a chat with the dodgy lender who think they're experts at creating a mock-up. Give us a week to copy/paste one into fruition and then we'll hassle you to pay.

We know you know niddy so will back down later but for now we'll try and scare you cos we is ard as fook innit blood!!

    - sit tight. Ignore this

    Hi,

Just received a letter from Lowell re my Littlewoods.

    Letter reads as follows

News on your credit agreement request

We have been in touch with Barclaycard about the copy of your credit agreement.

They have let us know they are trying to retrieve the agreement from their archive.
As soon as we have it, we will send it to you.

    What will happen next

In the event we cannot obtain a copy of the agreement we will write to you again and inform you of this. Once you have seen your credit agreement, we will ask you to pay your outstanding balance in full.

    Thanks
