Eejits. They always seem to crawl out just before Christmas too, as if we're going to say, oops, better cancel Christmas and pay up!

last year local nasty solicitor sent a couple of LBAs for one of MrD's and one of mine
we have "no paperwork available we won't enforce " letters for both of them from the OCs

nasty local solicitor duly comes back and admits this

couple of months ago the nasty local solicitor sends MrD a I&E with rude instructions for it to be returned immediately
we send back the normal letter (no enforcement)
    a month passes
another letter and another I&E, totally ignores the previous letter
I send a succinct one liner and another copy of the no enforcement
Tuesday I'm running down south to a work thing and a nasty seven day warning of impending papers from the local court
use the wonderful templates avaialble, add in COMPLAINT and ref the two previous letters and send it off 1st class recorded
letter to-day to say they are returning it to the owner (MKRR))

think the office junior had got a hold of it and was blindly following his mantra, silly buggars
now the office junior has sent this to Moorcroft who have sent me their usual we can't contact you, you never talk to us, we're not happy and we're going to get really tough sort of letter

this is totally UE, the oc has NEVER found any paperwork and they admitted it in writing ages ago, so I'll pop off a swid and send a copy of the letter from the oc, what a waste of time and effort and I am totally fed up talking to num pties, who writes these idiot letters and why why do they never read the ones we send back???

well the debtowners now have sent a illegible copy of the old chargecard cca, nought to do with the card that they are chasing

and I'm being transferred to a specialist third party, who they don't name, must be trying to think of one that hasn't had this before, now that'll be difficult

interestingly telling me they are acting on behalf of someone other than M&S
    which is strange really
cos I never got no NOA from anyone...........

so I think I'll pop off a prove it and see if that confuses them a bit
well finally got an answer here and it's taken them 16 months to come up with the same old crap, a copy of an entirely different chargecard application form and err no cca...............which is fair enough because there is NO cca cos I never signed one. this mob really need to keep up...............

Can't really say fairer than that. If only other debt purchasers would act in the same way...

they've had a good look around the lloyds basement for the paperwork here and they can't find it cos it's so old (actually not that old) so they've very kindly closed the account and I will hear no more!

must say lowells have been fairly straight with these, that's the second one they've done this for

I think Lowells are very good at looking at the business case of chasing a debt and the likelyhood of a return.
