Re: fwil's diary
Hi,
Update from Moorcroft re:Tesco (who said only have a duty to give info only to a debtor under a running account credit agreement)
'...Passed to Home Collections Division...'
Having checked similar diaries it looks like I need to send an Enough is Enough letter although those posts are going back a few years. Still the best course of action? Really don't want anyone turning up especially when i'm not here, we're not a million miles away from Moorcroft's office if that makes a doorstepping more likely?!
Thanks for all help so far and in advance...

However just noticed it was a credit card so are you saying they have never sent a CCA in response to your request of last year (09/2015)?I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. Tesco requested signature couple of times, said it didn't match then ended up saying they don't have to send CCA as account is closed.
Since then Moorcroft have progressed to threatening home visits.

Re: fwil's diary
i would tend to ignore and see what ' Home Collections' send,
I knew Moorcroft had progressed from doorstep collections to Home collections, I thought it was because we had all started taking our doorsteps in.
they told me they would send a *field agent* probably they had googled my house and found out I was surrounded by fields, who knows, but he must of got lost as he never called.I'm an official AAD Moderator and also a volunteer, here to help make the forum run smoothly. Re: fwil's diary
it's a very big IF,, very few of us have had a visit, a lot of the time they say someone will call, it's normally from the office, (phonecall)
as Deepie and Niddy say, you don't need to talk to them, just tell them to leaveI'm an official AAD Moderator and also a volunteer, here to help make the forum run smoothly. Re: fwil's diary
Moorcrft have given me a date and name of a 'local representative' who will call at my house. Do they really just accept being told to leave?
Not doubting everyone's excellent advice, just a bit worried that its come to this when they must know it is unenforceable due to no CCA.
