  • Re: Dibs UE Diaries

Hello IF, that's very kind of you and thank you for asking.

I'm still paying for an old CCJ, but it's just a token amount each month, as I refuse to pay more unless they go back to court.

The other one is an old debt from Comet, which AK have, this one still bothers me, its over 4k and I only pay them £10 a month, it keeps them quiet, however, I don't particularly want to keep paying them indefinitely, but I also don't have any money to offer as a settlement, so on it goes :-(

Account type: Comet Store Card by Time Retail Finance
        Defaulted: 2003
        Sold to Aktiv Kapital 2003

This is now with the PRA group and having received the Hello & pay us letter, I sent a new CCA request on Niddy's advice.
They have replied stating that they currently have no paperwork for this account and accept that it is currently unenforceable in court, however, they require my payment proposals by return, or they may put in the hands of a third party collection agency!

                  That's great news Dibs

Keep the letter very safe and make photocopies of it to send to anyone who PRA puts on to collecting the debt.

I would also make a copy of that letter in case you lose the original - thats as much as admission that you're home and dry to SB
