Haha - yea, just say you requested from the OC and sent them payment (has it been cashed)...?

Cheers Niddy, will check if it's been cashed. They wrote back and acknowledged it so they definitely got the letter. It was a PO so we can track it.
Will torture password out of OH later (only kidding)
      Niddified and proud!

Fought and won the UE battle, thanks to Niddy and this forum...

I can't believe this, DG Solicitors (First Direct) have sent ANOTHER illegible CCA.
They've already had the Illegible Copy letter and they've just sent another of the same. I can't read it.
            What do you suggest next?
            Ignore them for now.....

                  Re: inneedofhelp UE Diary

                  Evening!
Mrs Inneedofhelp here, posting on behalf of hubby.

These DCAs are doing my head in this evening! Back in December hubby sent a CCA Request to Westcot who were acting for NatWest. They sent postal order back and said write to NatWest, so we sent the "oh no you don't, it's you that needs to sort this out" letter.

Moorcroft then appeared to have the account as they wrote a month or so later, so we fired off the "Account sold" letter to them.

A couple of weeks later we had a letter from Midas (which is basically Moorcroft ) so we sent "Account sold" letter to them too...

Now have had a letter from Moorcroft enclosing a postal order for £1 saying he needs to write to NatWest to get his CCA.... can I scream now?

Do we just send the "no we don't have to write to NatWest, it's YOUR job to sort the CCA" letter to Moorcroft or is there anything to add to this.

                  Muppetry at its absolute best...

Its clearly in default of your s.78 request so you can pretty much ignore them - they cannot take formal action against you until such time they formally respond. Passing the buck is not an option to them!

Try and log-in with the right account

Its confusing unless people know that you and ineedhelp are a couple

Point taken! I have long been relying on "remember me" and not having to use a password I can remember....

Sorted now and I'll make sure I log on as 'im not me when I'm posting for 'im.

That remember me keeps you logged in (i.e. no timeout); however it's your browser that stores the log-in info.....

and I nearly did it again - started typing a reply then realised i was logged in as me and not 'im....
