    Hi All,
    Background: Started a DMP in 2012 with Stepchange for circa 60k unsecured debt. Currently at circa 39k and looking to self manage and follow advice on here. All of my debts have been defaulted and the majority dropped off my credit file(s) this year, with the last coming off in August 2013. I will document accordingly.


    Debt: MBNA Credit Card - Now with LINK

    See what comes back from your s77-79 CCA Requests (remember to send them by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery). Even if you have more than one debt with the same creditor or debt purchaser, you still need to send a standalone CCA Request in separate envelopes for each debt.

    There may be a lot of noise at first when the debt owners realise that they're not effortlessly receiving their monthly repayments from you (via StepChange DMP) which they've become used to over the years, but post on here when you hear anything and you will get help and support each step of the way.

    Things will go quiet eventually.
