All payments made on this a/c after 31/12/10 will passed to Arrow Global and will deducted from the current bal. It is essential that all future payments & correspondence regarding this a/c be directed to Largo Collections (which it is £1 standing order since 21/11/08). You should contact Largo Collections Ltd to organise payment of this a/c as a matter of urgency.

Now Phoenix Recoveries assigned to Arrow Global, all future payment and correspondence be directed to Largo Collections (which paying £1 by standing order since 21/11/08). All payments made after 31/12/10 will be passed to Arrow Global.

                  Thanks Flowerpower..
I haven't got the original creditor address. According the assignment letter they send me stated all future payment and correspondence be directed to Largo Collections.

The info I'm hoping to obtain mentioned as above #187 & #188.

The addresses for most financial institutions are here ---> Useful and Hard to Find Addresses - allaboutFORUMS

                    HSBC details:

                    HSBC Bank

                    FAO Data Protection Controller
                    8 Canada Square
                    London,
                    E14 5HQ
Thanks for the address and useful link .
Actually was First Direct they are same HSBC.

                    Sorry about the confusion

after I send this SAR request (than no need to reply to Largo/Arrow Global and carry on previous standing order £1 payment) and wait within 40 days reply is that correct?

As the DPA seems to include every manner of filing system from a computer database through to a shoe-box stuffed with postcards, with the possible exception of indexed, tiny tattoos on the private parts of a mob of Mexican midgets, it is not easy to comprehend how their filing system might be excluded.

there was a case involving the Welsh Ministers that dealt with the limits of DPA
I understood that the case of Ezsias v The Welsh Ministers (2007) - PDF link to commentary thereon - dealt with the question of what was the disproportionate effort to make data available in a permanent form and also on how finely a judge could split hairs to back up the establishment.

CCJs stay on record for 6 years so if it was obtained in 2008 it would still be there.

Should be worth the relatively small cost to find out once and for all if they got a CCJ or not
