    Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge

Ive just found something else. Its a letter from Intrum dated 25th November 2008 saying that as they were unable to provide a CCA they would not be taking any further action. What is likely to have happened since then ???

      Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge

I find that I have already reaised a complaint with the OFT and Essex Trading Standards who advised me via email in November 2008 that "If they cannot provide a copy of any agreement it is an unenforceable contract and you are entitled to reclaim any monies paid".

Id totally forgotten I had lodged complaints which had been upheld with TS and OFT. Maybe Mr Amissha should be made aware that a complaint has been lodged without being too specific about who its been lodged against ???

Are you reading what we're saying or not?

        ***** STOP *****

Slow down - chill out and send that template. That's it.

Simple. Stop stressing, do nothing but what I asked and YOU WILL be just fine

Utter nonsense. Let me see these letters please cos that's rubbish and I'll tell you now you ain't entitled to a refund if you pay. Do not read too much into those; shit loads of case law since 2008/9 that changes EVERYTHING!

It's not true. You are entitled to nothing I'm afraid.

                Hi,
Just read a few of the diaries, you will see Niddys advice works well, a lot of us have letters saying they cant produce a cca but that dosnt stop the threats, thats what the templates are for.
                Good Luck.

Seems wrong tho that one DCA can send a letter in 2008 saying "No further action" and then this lot pop up years later trying it on again. Weirdness.

                          Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge

                          Hi reliant,

We spoke when you first came here. Please listen to what the guys are saying here. Please have a read some of other people's stories. They are all going to get fed up of this record but our cases have been going on a total of 4 years now. We have got through 16DCAs and 3 solicitors practices. 2 of the accounts have just been sold in Absolute to another bunch of lowlife. All this despite instructing solicitors who investigated found unlawful activity on our accounts, who discovered the OC had no legal paperwork and told them if they felt they had a case then they had better go to court.

Its a war of attrition and they will break every rule in the book, you just have to stay calm and swat them down with the templates and methods that are given to you here. There are a number of forums out there who are falsely claiming in my view to be consumer help forums but are in fact pro bank anti debtor and if you have been reading those then you will not have been given a true picture. Don't let them get to you, from what you have said so far you are holding all four of the aces. So follow the procedures freely given to you here, they work and you can sleep easier at night.

                          regards
                          Garlok

Lets be frank but the threats are just complete tosh and in 99% if cases completely ignorable. Best to be binned and forgotten.
