    Re: Hello from Seamus

    Hi Seamus,

Not really mate. Use approximate amounts to give an idea and dates are about dates. I don't care about mine so I give pretty close figures and dates. However the start date IS important and can be deciding factor in how we would suggest you handle your cases. We also between us have a fair idea now how certain card companies and their tame oafs act and the methods they use so we can tailor any suggestions to that particular end. Oh and by the way when it comes to uploading documentation fpr Niddy to examine there is a secure area which only he can see, even the mods at all levels are not allowed in there so that side of it is totally secure.

    regards
    Garlok

The answer, realistically, is no - but even if they could - so what? You won't be breaking any laws; quite to the contrary, we use the law to aid our journey.

Thats very true. Probably a hangover from the CAG forum where it was often warned ''dont put any details down as the DCAs can identify you''. I often wondered, so what if they can?

They'd probably realise that you're getting help from somewhere when they realise that you're fighting back instead of rolling over but, as Diddles says, so what?

Also, bear in mind that we do have a special section available where we transfer any such cases that might need protection; ie. if you are in court etc.

Also, if we ever send any personally identifiable documentation, we do it via a protected section too, viewable only by yourself, and our lord of the manor, Niddy

Glad you are enjoying yourself here; take a look around some of the chat threads; you'll be made most welcome x

I've seen this Cabot 6 thing mentioned a few times, do we have a thread here about it, it sounds interesting?

We don't discuss it, but in a nutshell CAG gave up the names and personal details etc of 6 people, in regards to Cabot. I don't wanna get into it here but just google Consumer Action Group Cabot 6 - or search for the solicitor firm in control of it all (pulling the strings) Mishcon de Reya - LINK -

                    that should assist

                    * put it this way, they've never been the same after that incident!

I'll put ot simply for you mate:-

CAG can no longer be trusted by any user!

                      My opinion anyway.

                      regards

I doubt it, but what do you suppose they might do if they did know you'd told the world of their antics?

Would you really worry unduly if they threatened to shove beans up their noses?

Popular for the right or wrong reasons? That's what matters....

I explained in another thread recently why I don't want 100,000 members here - we offer tailored help and in a timely fashion. If we were "that" overrun with users it'd be hard to manage abuse and the help offered. Point is, we're happy just as we are - slowly growing with users that need us.

Haha - witty though. Good one
