    that should assist

    * put it this way, they've never been the same after that incident!

When people Google my real name, they might find:
        • a wheelchair designer who lives in California
        • someone who produced MIDI sequences of baroque music
        • a woodturner
        • an amateur engineer
        • an operator of a dial-up bulletin board in the amateur FidoNet

No wonder that nobody can find me!

Yippee!! Forgive me for being a bit happy, but just had a letter from Lowells stating that they've been in contact with BC (after my CCA request to Lowells) and due to the length of time they cannot find the agreement, therefore the account is closed until such time they find the agreement! They are now looking for the agreements of two other BC accounts too. I hope all my other accounts are as easy as that!

The doc in question was the OP's agreement which only Niddy would see on here. When I scanned mine for posting there I used motion blur in Photoshop but many people just use a semi-transparent marker! It's probably not the best idea to be posting such personal stuff where anyone can view it unless you can be 100% positive no personal info can be seen. When I posted my stuff nearly 2 years ago I had to use photobucket and link to that. My files are still sitting there but I know I blurred the details, however, most forum users are not Photoshop experts!

I would hate to think if someone misused this guy's info I could be suspected as I have already admitted to having seen it and no-one else has! But I couldn't just let it sit there, could I?
You done the right thing so well done to you.....

Over here, each and every upload is checked by a mod - as we have dedicated mods that actually mod, you'll usually find on the rare occasion that a user does upload a fully legible file, a mod removes the post pretty damn quick.

As our ethos goes, remove first ask questions later

You did the right thing, regardless. So well done - lets hope the user appreciates it....

I explained in another thread recently why I don't want 100,000 members here - we offer tailored help and in a timely fashion. If we were "that" overrun with users it'd be hard to manage abuse and the help offered. Point is, we're happy just as we are - slowly growing with users that need us.

Haha - witty though. Good one
The thing about growing slowly is that, as members become more knowledgeable, they can 'cascade' that knowledge to help new members.

Well done on the letter from Lowells Seamus

Keep that letter well protected and if anyone hassles you for repayment then send a photocopy of it with one of these: ---> CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA

                      Sorted - well done

Thanks, but I feel like I did very little, only sending a CCA request. They only bought the accounts a month or so ago and frankly I expected a lot more from them... a recon at least.

                            Hi Flowerpower,

You fit in here a real treat its good to have you aboard. I agree with what you say about "offical advice". Talk to your creditor, do the honourable responsible thing, be honest about your circumstances. What an utter load of rot. The moment you expose any form of weakness to these animals they set the dogs loose on you and exploit everything they can. If we were starting again, I would tell them precisely NOTHING. Other than refer them to the famous response in Arkell v Pressdram (1971). Then inflict as much pain as possible via the lawful routes that I could.

I wish AAD had been around in 2007 and I knew about it.

                            regards
