It gets easier, i'm nearly 2 years into UE, letters don't bother me at all now.

Hello again, seems as though your were right on the money with Debt Managers Evenless!

Had a letter saying after recent correspondence they would be closing their file and sending it back to Redoute!

Strangely, another letter came on the same day marked a day earlier from 'Russell and Aitken' solicitors (same address as DM) saying court is being considered if we dont get in touch and deal with Debt Managers right now. Court is very nasty they say and at the very least agents will call to collect our doorstep. Think i had better make sure it is locked down. We cant afford to replace it lol.

I guess from this it is ignore until the next collector writes

and they are quite polite, I bet when you send that letter to them they'll write back and apologise saying they didn't know!

Thanks evenless, (cant bring myself to use the word dopey, doesnt feel right lol).

I will do that then, just like to check with people more in the know than me! I will take your word for it on the polite front but it would be a first for a dca

Hello all,

Oh well, its been about six weeks or so and a letter from another dca. This one is called debt managers from edinburgh. Usual bolding, red ink etc saying the debt has been referred to them from redoute so i figure they dont own and are just working on behalf of.

Even so, many bad things will happen to us if we dont pay in full or accept a proposal they migh be good enough to offer

Since we have a letter stating the credit agreement cant be found, should i send a copy of that off along with the unenforcibilty letter from here? Or is it usual to ignore the first letter from someone new perhaps?
