The charges and interest will almost certainly be unlawful. Might be worth a SAR...

I will post on the Default forum and see what Paul says......thank a lot.

I have received a letter from BCW who have been ringing me for the past month but I always say that the person they want to speak to is out and take a message. This account is being passed from one DCA to another that I am finding it hard to know who it with............not that I care at the moment either.

Looks like BCW are bringing xmas early for me and want to give me a discount and I know what I want to give them but know it would not be legal.

Same shit all the time...........I got in to a mess and asked Vanquis if they would accept lower payments for a while...........they refused...again and again...........and then they sent me a faulty DN.........passed my account to as many different DCA's as they could and still not stopping. They can really kiss my xxxx now as I am not even going to bother with a reply..............or maybe I should?

Here is the letter I received:

Debt is £690 and the amount they are willing to accept is roughly the correct amount that was originally owed. Credit limit was £500 and I stopped using it when it got to apprx £400 and everything on top is charges & interest and all the other crap they have piled on. If they had accepted my original offer from the beginning this would have been almost paid off by now. After all that they are now willing to accept almost half so now they can go and eff themselves as I have bigger fish to fry and more important things to worry about at present.

I mean it's easier for you and us to help, if everything is in one place then we can offer tailored help as oppose to random stuff. It does make sense - I think

I've got 17 "Defaulted" markers on my CRA files with exact dates so I presume that means those accounts have been terminated even though 15 of them didn't send me any notice of termination.

That's great I have been getting so many phone calls from BCW about my Vanquis debt..........I don't give them my details and tell them to write to me. They say they have been sending letters and have sent 3 but I have not received a single one.

Should I ignore them? or let them continue to phone? I just say you must write to me and they say they did.........nothing more I can say them after that is there really.

    Just what I need....

Well I have received a letter today from BCW who are acting on behalf of Vanquis........they have addressed the letter to me but put my sister's address on it. I guess they think I am still living there...........maybe I should just leave it at that?

    Should I reply or ignore?
