Received another letter from Lowells yesterday again....on page two it says in April 2012 a payment of £11.59 was made......but I did not make any payment...so wonder why they wrote this?

Look like Lowells were serious when they said they would be passing my debt on to Red as I received a letter today from them...not sure what to do...reply or ignore?

Red is Lowells - they've just passed your account from one desk to another.

No problemo Miss T! I can totes hear your coming with the list especially when there are so many to say " on yer bike - " to and so little time! Having had a look at some of the excellent letters in the template library on here, there are quite a few you can use and adapt to suit!

Yes I need to concentrate on more important matters but eventually will have to deal with these bozo's too....thanks for your support and great input xx

I don't think there is any hurry with this mob anyway and I would suggest as has all the other good folks on here, to just ignore them until you are good and ready to deal with them. You have been more than reasonable! Out of interest, did you ever receive any responses to your CCA request and telephone harrassment letters? If Lowlife have as they say been assigned/bought the debt, then they have probably bought themselves another load of lemons and don't have any documentation. Further as I see Niddy has pointed out, your DN is faulty. Maybe they realise this but are still chancing their arm!

You should have also had some kind of response to your complaint - did you.

Red say that they can access my credit file to see my financial circumstances...I wish them luck...as it is shot to fuck...especially when they see my secured loan history.

If you look at Red's letter they say that Lowell passed them my account and the last paragraph says I can set up a direct debit online with http://www.lowell.co.uk...huh? WTF? should it not be http://www.reddicks.co.uk? mmm weird. Last thing I need right now is another court claim..as I already have one hanging over my head with a HSBC claim stayed since Dec10...and going through divorce & repo proceedings so will wait to see what anyone has to say on this...thanks to all in advance.

Hey Miss T, really don't worry about these bozos and be doing this - that's what they want!

All they can do is send you letters and pester you with phone calls!

I have had a good look through my hard copy paperwork and on my computer at work and what I actually sent these fools was just a telephone/doorstep collection letter to both Lowell and RED as well as a CCA. When they couldn't supply a copy of the agreement, they closed their file! They are incompetent twits!

So if you haven't sent the "back off" harrassment letter and a CCA, set them in your cross hairs and do just that.

It will at least giving you breathing space to concentrate on your more important matters!

Have you applied for the CCA or is this too new??

I might just send a sold in dispute either way, send them off on a wild goose chase, worth a go.

I received this letter yesterday from Lowells threatening to pass my debt on to Red Debt Collections...and they also mention a threat of a statutory demand if I owe more than £750.

The amount they state I owe in this letter is £677.66 where as the last letter I received they said I owed £689.00...so wonder why this has become lower?

Should I reply to this letter of ignore? and it is addressed to my sister's house as I went there last year because I had to leave my home due to OH's behaviour.
